Parivara Deites

In the temple premises at the entrance, we see couple of small temples to the right. Here idols of Shri Mahasati and Jataka are installed. Pooja is offered here every day after the pooja of main deities. Pushpa which was offered to Lord previous day is then offered these parivara deities. They are known to be guarding the holy place against any negative energy. Families who have the attachment of Molkod in some form do offer the Balekone(Banana bunch) pooje to Mahasati and Jataka once every year. The Balekone naivedyam is first offered to the main deity and then its offered to parivara deities. During Vanabhojana Seva there will be many Balekone poojas offered from the devotees. People take the Sindhura Prasadam and keep them at their residence as sign of Abhaya.

Apart from the parivara deities, we have a Gana stone installed to the left of the temple where a Drishti coconut is broken during every Utsava. Also during Vanabojana, the coconut collected from every home during the visit of Lords savari, is then broken on this stone. Breaking coconut on this Gana Stone symbolises removal of any negative energy.
