Deities in the Garbhagraha

Main deities of worship here are Lord Shree Lakshmivenkatesh, Shree Mukhyaprana and Goddess Amma.

We have idols of Shridevi Bhoodevi sahita Venkatesh at the top center, he is the main deity(Pradhan Deva). This idol is relatively small, but lord Laksmi Sahita Venkatesh is pleased by the presence of his supreme devotee Mukhyaprana.

To the right of Lakshmi Venkatesha idol, we could see Shridevi Bhoodevi Sahita Venkatesha. The Venkatesh idol here is the Utsava moorti which is taken out during every Utsava.

To the left of Pradhana deva Lakshmivenkatesha idol, are these idols placed. We have tamrapata placed behind these idols. There are two idols of Shree Krishna, holding butter on his right hand, at the center we have small idol of Lord Lakshminarayana.

On the second row, in the center we have Shree Lakshminarayana idol, which is very attractive, where Goddess Lakshmi is seated on the left lap of Lord Narayana and both are blessing their devotees with their hands making Abhaya hasta mudra.

To the right of Lakshminarayana idol, on the second row we have idols of Shree Ramachandra, Kudugolu Krishna and Venugopala Krishna

And to the left we have Rukmini Satyabhama Sahita Shree Krishna idol

On the third row, towards the right of Shalagrama Samputa we have idols of Shridevi Bhodevi Sahita Venkatesh Deva. It was brought from place called Manninge and hence idol also known as Manninge Venkatesha.

Apart from the idols, we do have the Shalagramas. There are different types of Shalagramas. The one which are present in the silver container situated at the center are offered abhishekam and pooja and anna naivedyam in the afternoon. There are set of Shalagramas which are offered naivedyam and pooja during the evening.

We also have idol of Amma, which is form of Durga, popularly known as Navadurga Amma.  This particular idol makes our deva mandana special. We could see many places of worships of Hari and Vaayu, but here in Molkod  presence of Amma idol makes it unique. During Navaratri special poojas are offered to Goddess Amma. This idol is said to be brought from Shri Amma temple Mavinkurva, Honnavar taluk. Goddess Amma in the idol is Ugra Swaroopini, is in the position of killing Rakshasa.

LORD MUKHYAPRANA

The idol of lord Mukhyaprana is made up of stone. It is said to be found near in a well near the temple and Archak Acharaya Kutumbikas started worshipping it. Lord Mukhyaprana idol is facing the east direction and is considerably bigger than other idols. He has lifted his right hand in a blessing position. His left hand is resting on the hip and also holding Gadha with the same. Tail comes around him from the right side in a semi-circular manner with a bell hanging on top of it. Lord Hanuman is believed to bless and guide his devotees to the lotus feet of Lord Shri Hari.

Besides, small idols of Lord Ganapathi, Lord Garuda are also present in the mandana.
